Producing stable, quality Icelandic Sheepdogs

My primary focus is to produce dogs with correct temperaments, structure, and working drive.
I compete in a variety of sports with my dogs. I have a focus in conformation, rally, and obedience. My personal dogs also act as demo/neutral dogs for me as a licensed dog trainer. My priority is to produce Icies that are happy to do anything and everything with their people.
All dogs are health tested and proven in various venues before breeding.

The Icelandic Sheepdog is a medium sized spitz, with a confident and lively demeanor. They are eager to please, and have a heart full of whimsy and mischief. They excel in active or weekend warrior type homes, where they can do things with their people.

They are around 25-30lbs, and 16-18" (ideal) tall. They come in both a long and short coat. They have a thick, weather proof coat regardless of length. Their coat can come in a variety or color, through never merle or brindle, and should always have accompanying white, though should be a predominant color other than white.

They were bred to herd with their bark, so are vocal by nature. However, with proper boundaries and training established early on they should not be obnoxious. This is mildly dog and line dependent, but always expect a level of "talking" from your dog.
