About 4leaf
I am a LFDM full-time Dog Trainer, active dog sport exhibitor, pet owner, and small scale breeder. I have taken something that started as a passion for dogs and grown it into a small breeding program. I focus on raising Icelandic Sheepdogs with friendly dispositions who fit in seamlessly as incredible family pets, while also having the ability to thrive
as working farm dogs and sport companions.
I got my start in Icelandic Sheepdogs in 2014 when I brought home my first, Andi. Together, we competed in 4-H, as well as AKC and UKC events. Andi had me completely hooked on the breed — from their loving and confident nature to their goofy, eager-to-please disposition. I truly cannot imagine life without my Icies.
My dogs are pets first and foremost. They live in my home, share in my daily life, and are an active part of everything I do. They eat with me, sleep in the house, and help at my job every day. Icelandic Sheepdogs are active dogs, and mine thrive when given a job to do.
While I enjoy competing in dog sports and encourage new owners to give them a try, I understand sports are not for everyone. My goal is to produce healthy, well-rounded dogs who thrive as active pets and can also enjoy fun activities on the weekends.
Interested in meeting some of my Icelandic Sheepdogs? Contact me at 4leafkennel@gmail.com and I’d be happy to schedule a time for you to meet them.
